Terms of Service
Last updated October 12, 2026
These terms apply when you book a cleaning with [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] ("3rd Coast Cleaning," "we," "us"). By requesting or confirming a booking, you agree to them.
1. Our service
We arrange residential cleaning performed by independent, background-checked cleaners who follow our checklists and standards. We schedule, confirm, bill and stand behind every clean. What each service includes is described on our website and in your booking confirmation.
2. Prices and sales tax
Prices are based on the home details you give us. Quoted prices assume homes in average condition. If a home differs materially from what was described (size, clutter, heavy soiling, pets), we will tell you before continuing and either adjust the price or end the visit early; additional time is billed at $50 per cleaner-hour, only with your approval. Texas sales tax is added to all cleaning charges. We may change recurring prices with at least 30 days' notice.
3. Payment
We collect a payment card when we confirm your booking. Your card is charged after each completed visit, through our payment processor. Recurring plans continue until you pause or cancel them; there is no long-term contract. First-clean offers apply to the first visit of a recurring plan only.
4. Rescheduling, cancellations and lockouts
- Reschedule or cancel free with at least 48 hours' notice by text, call or email.
- Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice may be charged a $50 late-cancellation fee.
- If your cleaner cannot get in at the scheduled time (wrong code, no key, no answer) after reasonable attempts to reach you, a $50 lockout fee may apply.
- We may reschedule for severe weather, illness or safety reasons and will tell you as early as we can.
5. Our 48-hour re-clean promise
If something on our checklist was missed, tell us within 48 hours of the visit, ideally with a photo. We will send a cleaner back to re-clean those areas at no charge. Re-cleaning is our remedy for service quality; refunds are at our discretion.
6. Damage and loss
- Report any damage within 48 hours of the visit. We will review job photos and notes, and if we are responsible, we will repair or replace the item or reimburse its fair value, at our option, subject to our insurance.
- We are not responsible for normal wear, pre-existing damage, items that were improperly installed or secured, or damage caused by following your instructions or products you supplied.
- Please put away cash, jewelry, firearms, medication and irreplaceable or high-value items before a visit.
7. What we don't do
For safety and insurance reasons, cleaners do not move heavy furniture, climb above a two-step stool, clean biohazards (bodily fluids, mold remediation, pest infestations), clean exterior windows above the ground floor, or handle firearms. Cleaners may decline any task they believe is unsafe.
8. Pets and home access
Please tell us about pets when you book and secure any pet that may be aggressive or anxious. You authorize our cleaner to enter your home at the scheduled time using the entry method you provide. We are not responsible for pets that get out through an entry or door you asked us to use.
9. Working with our cleaners
Our cleaners are independent contractors we have recruited, vetted and trained. During your service and for 12 months after your last visit, you agree not to hire a cleaner introduced by us directly or through another company. If you do, a placement fee of $1,000 applies.
10. Communications
You agree that we may contact you by call, text and email about your bookings. Calls to our business line may be answered by an automated assistant and recorded. Text-message terms and opt-out are described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim related to a visit is limited to the amount you paid for that visit, except for damage covered under section 6 or caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by Texas law. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas, unless both sides agree to mediation first.
