Privacy Policy
Last updated October 12, 2026
This policy explains what information [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] ("3rd Coast Cleaning," "we," "us") collects when you use our website, request a quote, book a cleaning, apply to clean with us, or text or call us, and how we use and protect it.
Information we collect
- Contact and booking details: your name, phone number, email, service address, home details (size, bedrooms, bathrooms, pets), cleaning preferences, entry instructions and scheduling choices.
- Payment information: card details are collected and stored by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers.
- Communications: calls, texts and emails with us. Calls may be answered by an automated assistant and may be recorded and transcribed to handle your request.
- Service records: job notes, before-and-after photos of the cleaned areas, ratings and feedback.
- Cleaner applications: information you submit when applying, and background-check results you authorize separately.
- Website data: basic technical data such as device, browser and pages visited, collected by our hosting provider and, if used, analytics tools.
How we use it
- To quote, schedule, perform, confirm and bill your cleanings.
- To match you with a cleaner and share the details they need to do the job (name, address, entry instructions, home notes).
- To send booking confirmations, reminders, rating requests and service updates.
- To handle re-cleans, complaints, damage reports and safety issues.
- To improve our service and, if you agree, send occasional offers you can opt out of at any time.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Text messages
If you opt in, we text you about your bookings: confirmations, reminders, arrival updates, photos and rating requests. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Opting in is not required to book.
We do not sell, rent or share your mobile phone number or text-messaging opt-in with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except service providers that deliver the messages for us.
Who we share it with
We share information only as needed to run the service:
- The independent cleaner assigned to your home.
- Service providers that work on our behalf, such as scheduling software, payment processing, phone and text services, email, website hosting and our remote office staff, each limited to what they need.
- Authorities when required by law, or to protect the safety of our clients, cleaners or the public.
- A buyer or successor if our business is sold or reorganized, under this same policy.
We do not sell your personal information.
Entry codes and keys
Door codes, lockbox codes and alarm instructions are stored in our scheduling system with limited access and shared only with your assigned cleaner for your scheduled visits. You can change your codes at any time; please let us know when you do.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and billing records for as long as you are a client and for the period required for tax and accounting purposes afterward. Job photos are kept for up to 12 months. Call recordings and transcripts are kept for up to 12 months. You can ask us to delete information we are not required to keep.
Your choices
- Ask what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it.
- Opt out of texts (reply STOP) or marketing emails (unsubscribe link).
- Contact us at [YOUR EMAIL] or [YOUR PHONE].
Security
We use reputable providers with encryption in transit, limit staff access to what each role needs, and never ask for card numbers by text or email. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your information, we will notify you as required by Texas law.
Children
Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do. Material changes will be posted on this page.
